Annual physicals are scheduled at yearly intervals for overall maintenance of health and screen for conditions that can minimize long-term complications.The physician will perform a detailed examination including blood pressure, BMI checks and discuss about Diet and Exercise, Alcohol and Tobacco use, Depression.Recommendations on Vaccinations will be provided.We will check and order labs which usually include:
  • Complete Blood count
  • Complete metabolic panel
  • Fating lipid panel
  • Thyroid function tests
  • Diabetes screening test HbA1C
  • Complete Urine analysis
  • B12, Folate levels
Additional gender and age specific tests, cancer screening will also be included. Osteoporosis screening and AAA ( Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm ) screening based on age will be recommended.
